Halloween 2011

I really love Halloween.  Some years I think I don't, but then as I am getting my kids ready and get to watch them go from house to house, there is something about it that just makes me 100% happy.  My trio was down to 2 as we were actually getting the kids all dressed.  Landon refused to be Luke.  Couldn't even try and convince him that he was cool and could have his light saber on his belt and everything. Nope.  Wasn't even budging on the subject.  So Buzz he was.  And I was a tad (ok really really sad) that I didn't have all 3 sporting the Star Wars theme I had worked so diligently on.  What's a mom to do?! Let the sweet big brown eyed boy have his way of course!  And an adorable Buzz Lightyear he was!
Mackenzie's hair turned out perfect and Gavin was happy that all the pictures I took he didn't have to smile cause he could wear his mask :)

Boo at the Zoo

Once again we conquered the Zoo for Halloween fun! It was a beautiful fall day and we really enjoyed ourselves!  I even got Grandma Madge to come with us, how lucky are we??
Again, a very large lack of photos here, Mackenzie actually got sick right when we got there, so her and grandma went to sit down for practically the whole time we were there.  Towards the end she felt better and was able to see a few of the animals at least!  She did enter the photo contest, but did not place :(
Landon was hilarious, giving all the characters "high fives" every chance he could.  He had a piece of candy in his mouth the entire 2 hrs we were there! haha  The animals were all out for the most part, and it was just an enjoyable time! 
I renewed my zoo pass so of course we will be heading back again and again and again, until we start to freeze to death :)

Cake Balls

We got together with the Miller's for some cake ball making fun!  It was.......sort of fun......rather frustrating at times.....but overall a good time!  Once again I didn't get many photos, but here are a few!
and yes there are many goofy looks in these, but that's what makes it funny :)
