Last Day of School

I kind of forgot to post Mackenzie's last day of kindergarten! Oops. Her last day was last Thursday, which was the same day I was leaving to go on my getaway. I was able to join her for the 1st hour and a half, and then we had to flee fast to get to the airport.

It was great to get to see her with all her friends at school and watch the activities the teacher had planned for them. Her teacher put together the cutest memory book for them with all their kindergarten memories throughout the school year! It is awesome, I love it! They had a family BBQ, and they also got to do some "last time in kindergarten" things. Her teacher was got very emotional as they quoted their weekly message that read how much she was going to miss them, and how proud she was of them. It was really sweet, and of course, I got a little teary myself. Mackenzie loves school, and the summer may be a long one if the weather doesn't turn around faster so we can go enjoy the water park again!

Well, Mackenzie is now going to be a 1st grader, and is so very excited to be able to go to all day school next year! Hooray for the kindergarten memories!

Seattle Trip 2008

Stacey, Connie and I on the plane to Spokane We had such an awesome time on our trip! With all the laughing, playing cards, bubble blowing, eating WAY too much for our own good, we just made so many memories! We couldn't have made it there safely without Tom Tom, our wonderful BFF, GPS system! I never realized how awesome they are until now! Seattle is a bit hectic and crazy, and we really had no idea where we were going, so Tom Tom is the newest member of our family. It was so sad that it had to come to an end, as do all fun vacations! I love my sisters and I am so happy we had the chance to get away together. We definitely will make a getaway once a year from now on. I had a ton of pictures, so I just did slide shows to get them all in the best I could.

My adorable husband loves me so much that he left me a cute message in the lawn for when I got home that night! They came and picked me up at the airport, and when we drove up to the house, this is what I found. (in case you can't read it in the pic, it says WE LOVE MOM) and the other side of the lawn had a big heart. My husband really does love me, and I know he missed me! Its always a good feeling to know you are loved!
