This was the house we were at in Waldport. It was much bigger and roomier for all 12 of us!

Oregon Coast Trip 2010
Our trip was wonderful! So many memories, too many pictures to post, fabulous family to share it with, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! We had my mom with us on our drive, and met up with Cindy and Dave and their kids. It was so nice to have extra helpers for my kids, and it was really a perfect trip all around. We started off our trip in Seaside for two days, then drove to Waldport for two more days. We had perfect weather in Seaside and Cannon Beach and then it turned a bit colder and rainy, but it was still beautiful and tons of fun!
The Falls
This is always a great stop before we hit the road to the coast. The fall are always beautiful and its always a perfect time to get out of the car and stretch and walk around before another 2 hours in the car!
We made it!
Our first evening at the ocean. I wanted to capture my childrens reactions as they experienced the ocean for the first time.
Gettin their feet all in it! Feels so nice...
We missed the sunshine for our first venture out to the beach, but it was still as beautiful as ever. Great ending of the long drive we had just had! Ready to party all week long, watching the waves, feeling the sand in our toes, some serious great times ahead of us!
Perfect day at the OCEAN!!!!
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunny afternoon at the beach our second day there. Seaside was pretty as always, and we totally lucked out to have sun for most the afternoon. The kids had a blast in the sand and got to fly kites, it was really a very very perfect day!
Sand angels
Sand castles
Sand, sand and more sand!
I love the ocean!!!
The view in Seaside, so peaceful to just sit and watch the waves.
Aw, Cannon Beach
Such an awesome view! I love Cannon Beach the very most of all the places we usually visit while on the coast! Doesn't matter how cold we are, its so beautiful!
I don't remember the tide pools being this fun before, we spent quite awhile looking through them all. The kids were entertained for a long time!
Me and my sister Cindy, I am really really happy they decided to come with us on this trip!
Waiting for the boys with the firewood and marshmallow to show up, we were getting cold!!!
Landon and Caleb, they were buddies on this trip.
Ok, so how many boy scouts did it take to actually get the fire going???? :) It took a bit of effort but they were successful in the end.

This boy had so much fun in the sand, and he looks pretty stinkin cute in the center of it all!

The fire felt so nice since it was pretty cold that evening even before the sun went down!
Had a blast making smores on the beach at sunset, never done that before and it was perfect!
This was the perfect ending to the perfect day at the beach!
Justin and I had to reenact one of the coolest pictures we had taken 10 years ago.
10 years ago: 2000
10 years later:2010
I can't beleive it has been 10 years since we first came to the Oregon Coast together. We had just barely started to date and he agreed to go on a trip with me and my parents. I knew if he could handle an entire trip with me for that long and still be in love with me, that we would last forever!
The Lighthouse
This was the bottom of the lighthouse area, it was kind of a ways down there, but the view was beautiful and we were able to see a few seals bobbing their heads in the water.
It was pretty cold outside and windy of course! I don't think there has ever been a time visiting a lighthouse where we weren't getting blown away!
Although you can't tell we are actually in the lighthouse, at the very top! 110 steps I think?!
And I can't recall the actual name of this lighthouse, they are all the same in my mind anyway! I actually had never been to this particular one. Always beautiful and always worth the trek to the top!
The Newport Aquarium
We had a lot of fun at the aquarium!
Mackenzie was brave enough to stick her fingers in and get to touch all the cool reefs and starfish and sea cucumber things. Gavin was very sceptical but still managed to get his hands in there a little!
All the grand kids that were on this trip together and they all got along!!!
This family pic didn't turn out like I had hoped, but I guess we are a bit too big for this turtle, Justin was just about to fall off!
