4th of July

Madison, Mackenzie and Michaela sporting their 4th attire isn't justin a punk for not smiling......?
So I was a big loser and only got 2 pictures of the entire day.....what's wrong with me??? My mind wasn't with it I guess, and I am very very sad about it!!
We started the day at Roaring Springs. It was perfect outside, and we only stayed for a few hours (the joy of having passes) then it got really busy. We then went to Stacey's for yummy food and to celebrate Jaydon's birthday!
My family was lame and nobody wanted to go down to the park for fireworks....so I didn't get to see them....which kind of put me in a grouchy mood. So we had to end up sitting and watching some fireworks that we had left over from last year instead. Which I absolutely hate for some reason, they have never been something I have enjoyed. Gavin hated all of them, and even the ones in the sky that people were letting off were freaking him out.
Overall, we had a good day with family, and the kids had so much fun playing in the water non stop the entire day!
I am sad for the lack of photos to capture the eventful day, but what can I do now???

Lagoon prizes galore!

So Justin is a sucker for the games at Lagoon. He was actually the hit of the day, winning prizes for ALL the little kids..... Basketballs for the boys, and stuffed animals for the girls. It was really quite cute to watch them all get so excited when Uncle Justin won them something. Our kids of course made out pretty nice with the toys and prizes....thanks dad!

Lagoon 2008

So this weekend we went to Lagoon with Justin's family. It was a blast! I was so happy that the kids did so well, and that they actually went on all the rides! We were able to go on a lot of rides together as a family, even with Gavin being so little. I am the biggest wimp when it comes to rides, so I was afraid they inherited that from me. Gavin was hilarious to watch and take on rides with. And Mackenzie was so much better when it came to trying new things. We melted with the heat, but it was still a lot of fun! I had a lot of pictures, and the slide shows weren't working very well, so I did what I could.

Loving the rides!

So my kids totally surprised me. They both loved all the rides! Gavin was the most fun to watch on each one, his little face just lit up when it started and he just couldn't get enough! Mackenize was really brave and at the end of the first day, finally decided to go on the Dinosaur drop....which is a ride that goes quite high for kids and goes up and down fast. She went on that one until it closed! I was so proud of them both for not being chicken (like me) when it comes to rides!
