Salmon Fishing

Here are some of the latest pictures of my hunky husband during his fishing trip with his dad. They went up to Riggins and fished the Salmon river. I love to look at pictures of him when he's fishing, especially when he catches some good ones! Good job honey, if I liked fish then I would be excited to eat it, but good to know you could catch me some if it was the only thing left in the world.

The latest laugh around the house!

Here is the amazing rock star himself! Mackenzie often dresses him up in her play clothes, and I very rarely get a good picture of him fast enough before he tears it off. I'm sure he is going to love me when he gets older and I can blackmail him with these!!!

Happy Birthday Stacey!

Its Stacey's birthday today!!!! We always celebrate the girls' birthdays' in our family (aka mom, sisters, and sister in laws) by going out to lunch! Its always so fun to be able to get away and spend an hour or so with each other with no children and no hubbies! The only flaw was that Cindy wasn't there with us.
I always say that Stacey and I were really supposed to be twins because we are so much alike. Its really rather creepy sometimes, we have the same thoughts and the same instincts. She and I were never close when we were growing up, five years was more of a big deal when you are younger, but I always wanted to be like her. She and I have since become quite inseparable, and a day that goes by that we don't talk to each other is a strange one. I am so grateful that we are so close and so much alike, and especially that our husbands get along so well together. I love my sister, and I love that we have the bond that we do. Happy Birthday Sis!

a sweet goodbye

So on Sunday the new Primary presidency had each of us come in during share time, and we got to say our goodbye's to everyone. We all took turns having the kids sing our favorite primary song, and then we bore our testimonies. It was a little overwhelming for us, and I can't fight the emotions as well as the other two did. All the kids were so sweet and then they handled us a huge thank you card and a bag of hugs and kisses. It was nice to be able to be in there one last time to say goodbye. It really was a strange day not being in charge, but I am sure I will be able to get used to not having the responsibility fast!
