Pondering....
I was released from my calling on Sunday, and I am feeling a little out of sorts. The whole Primary presidency was released, and it feels a little strange to actually be done. When we lost Wendie to her moving, I thought we would just have to welcome a new 1st counselor, but instead they decided to take us all out. It feels nice to know that we are no longer the ones in charge, and that load has been lifted, but at the same time there is a strange void about me. I have just been thinking about this alot these past couple days, and felt I needed to express it. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve, and I feel I have grown so much from this calling. Who knows what will come my way next, but my heart is mixed with emotions as I ponder upon my 2 years serving those sweet children.

Happy Father's Day!
I just wanted to take a moment and express my love and appreciation to all the dads in my life!
First I want to recognize my dad, who is someone I truly love and adore! He truly loves his family and all his grandchildren! He is always there to help me when I need it. He has always been the one I could go for when I needed money, the car, or permission to go out with my friends. He really was the "sucker", and I mean that in the best possible way! I am grateful for my dad and all he has taught me.
Second, I have been so blessed with a wonderful father-in-law who is one of the sweetest men in my life. He is such a great grandpa to my kids, and they just adore him! He isn't afraid to get on the floor and really play with the kids, its great!
Justin admires his dad and all the hard work he does for his family. His dad has grown such a passion for fishing, and that has really been something they can do together that they truly enjoy! I am grateful that Justin has such a great dad, and that I get to be a part of the family as well.
Then of course there is my wonderful husband! He is the best dad in the world to his kids! He is a kid himself, so they really got lucky to have a daddy that loves to play all the time!!! Even when he is so tired when he gets home, he still has time to throw the ball with Gavin and wrestle with Mackenzie. I am so blessed to have this wonderful man in my life to be such a great example to our children.
