The boys (Justin too) had a trip to the dentist this week. It wasn't all that big of a deal, Gavin has been going for what 3 yrs now, but it was Landon's very first time! He wasn't too excited about it. He is so different from Gavin's personality and he does try to be a brave independent boy. He did really well, actually spoke back to the dental assistant when she asked him questions, and wasn't scared of the dentist when he came in. As she was cleaning his teeth he wasn't so sure. He was doing fine and then all of a sudden he freaked out. Started crying and such. I came and sat next to him and held his hand and we eventually got through all his teeth. But I'm sure if there were any other kids around they may have been frightened that he was actually getting hurt :) He was all smiles when he got his bag of goodies though.
It is a very odd feeling to take your own children to your dentist you went to when you were their age! Made me feel a little old. But only a little.
We have all sort of been feeling like this the past couple weeks, between the croup, the cold and flu it has been a very lazy last few weeks. We are all on the mend and feeling back to ourselves again!
There is a sickness still lurking around that is called "obsessed with angry birds syndrome" ALL my boys in this household are hopelessly addicted to this darn game!
And because I just can't resist a good picture of a sleeping child....... here is my sweet little man who I found asleep one afternoon. He is unfortunately not a good waker upper from these sort of naps......which is why I don't usually "let him" take one :) But he looks peaceful at least!
