outside finally!

For those of you who can relate to this, now that the weather is FINALLY nice, the kids can go run and play outside........YEE-HAW! Here are the kids playing in the "garden". I am ever so happy that they are able to venture outside again, and not freeze their noses off! hats off to the good weather.....until tomorrow, when I am sure it will rain or snow.....we are in Idaho for that matter!

Night for Tamra

Jaydon, Stacey, me, Madison and Tamra

Michaela, Mackenzie and Madison (stacey's twins)

on the way home Kenzie said she wanted to be like Tamra, it was so sweet~

Tonight we went to see our adorable niece Tamra in the Borah Variety show (aka the choirs). What a flashback to be back on Borah grounds. It has been more than 8 years since I have even driven into that parking lot.....whoa....wierd! I felt a little strange being there with my daughter, it made me feel old. But are we old? I don't THINK we are? But anyway, it was fun to watch her dance her little dance (especially to Crank Dat, I couldn't stop laughing at her, she was so cute!), and sing...a little. (there was more lip sinking than I would have thought). But she is so beautiful, and so fun to watch the girls get excited to see her up on the stage!

Our McCall Getaway

memories!

girls really just wanna have fun!

I feel so much better after being able to just get away from EVERYTHING! Being with my sisters and mom, and sister-in-laws.....was just SO MUCH FUN! We now have LOTS of things to make us laugh for years to come. I won't post them, but the funny jokes, the night time scare from Jocelyn, the heater issue, the impersonations, the joyful ride up and back, will be embedded in my mind forever I'm afraid. Sorry Joce, you will NEVER live that one down. Its like Connie's cheer on video that never went away! Thanks for the never ending laugh fest. I am giggling now just thinking about how much fun everyone was! Tracey, we couldn't have lived without you there, you truly are the life of the party! I love my family, I love my sisters. I am SO glad we were able to make this work, and get everyone there! Thanks to our husbands for not throwing a fit for us leaving, not that they had much of a choice! Cindy, its just a reminder now, how much we miss you being so close. Thanks for not crying too hard when we said goodbye, but I must admit, I may have cried a few minutes on the way home! Its was fun to bond and to get to know each other better. I hope the rest of you had as much fun as I did!

Our home away from home

I went to McCall for the weekend, and man it was so much fun! No hubbies, no kids, just my mom and sisters! A perfect simple getaway. There was SO much snow everywhere! We could barely see our little "cabin" under the mass of snow that covered the entire front yard, and backyard. When we were inside the house, when you looked out the window, you could barley see the sky.....mostly just snow. It was really very beautiful. I don't think I have EVER seen that much snow in my life!
