3 months old

Our little man is getting so grown up! I hate to say it like that, but that's how I feel already. He is just so "big" to me, and the newborn stage is kind of over....tear.
Here are some things he is doing now:
- Smiles all the time, all you have to do is pretty much acknowledge him and he'll give it to you
- Laughs and coos a lot
- rolls over (just started this...is that too young?)
- loves to watch Kenz and Gav
- goes more than 2 hours for feedings...yes!
- has all his hair still
- fits into a few 6-9 month clothes...don't laugh too hard!
- still sleeps with his momma in bed ( no lectures please!)
- still stealing my heart every time I pick him up and squeeze him

Its over.....

My maternity leave is officially over. My 13 weeks of being able to focus mainly on my kids and the baby with no other distractions, over. My poor house, my poor kids, my poor husband. Which means I have to go back to the world of working. In a way I am ready to get out of the house a few times a week, but on the other hand...yuck its work, and who likes to work? We are so poor its definitely time for me to go back, its just a sad sad moment for me, and I had to express my melancholy. Pray for my husband to have the patience to have all the kids for 7 hours at a time. He has had them all before, nothing longer than 4 hours, and he usually doesn't do so well. So this will be a challenge for him and me (to not worry the entire time I am at work).

time to pass it

So for those of you who have never had to experience the horrific pain of kidney stones, I am happy for you. It is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The uncontrollable pain and discomfort, just reminds me that I wouldn't do well if I had to give birth naturally. Although from a few people I have heard that it is worse than giving labor. Last week I had the "pleasure" of that pain, that horrible horrible pain. It lasted about 4 hours, and then I felt a little sore, but pretty good. All week I felt just fine, no discomfort. I was trying to "catch" the stone with my trusty strainer, but nothing. Then Sunday night, there it was. That pain. That agony. I didn't fill my prescription the doc gave me at the ER the week before because I had felt fine. Well, that was stupid. I had the worst night and next day. Lots of curling in a ball, lots of vomiting, lots of tears. I hate pain. My wonderful husband was there to comfort me and take care of the kids. I found my prescription the next day, and sent Justin to Costco to get it filled right away. Aw.....the comfort of medication. The way it just sort of numbs the pain, and makes me feel happy. I just wish I could pass it fast, so I can have it analyzed to find the source of the problem. Having to use a strainer every time I go #1 isn't all that fun. Wish me luck in my journey to pass that horrible thing that causes such pain.

Beautiful Friends

I LOVE MY FRIENDS! I really really just do. I am so happy that even after almost 10 years of being out of high school, I can still call all of these girls my friends! Even if the place we chose was a tad slow with the service and we were there for about 3 hours in all, the company was wonderful and it was so nice to catch up with all my girls! Although life when I got home wasn't the happiest (landon was horrible for Justin) it was totally worth it to get to spend quality time without the kids around. Girls nights are just a necessity to staying sain! So thanks to Tara for coming into town so we had an excuse to get together! I love you girls, you are so beautiful!
