4 month stats

I almost forgot to post his 4 month stats..... He came out large and hasn't stopped growing since! Weight 18 lbs 93% length 27 in 96% head 17 in 72% We love our "little" Lando. What he has been up to lately: - sleeping in his own crib!!! :) - going 6 hours at night between feedings - smiling at anything and anyone - needing to be by someone at all times - loves to play with toys and can hold them by himself - no longer able to be proped up without being right by him.....or he falls over onto the floor?! - won't eat with alot of noise, or talking around - getting smothered by big brother still - growing so fast I can't keep up with his clothes sizes! - melts my heart with every smile!

Easter 2009

After MUCH bribing for Gavin to even give me that much of a smile was hard enough. I waited until after church to try and get a good photo of all three.....not the smartest, but with 9:00 church that was all I could swing.
This is his "I'll give you a halfsie smile mom"
The only two who would look at me without crying.....
Little Gavin, he is either really smiley, or really NOT.......little stinker!
We had such a nice Easter this year. I have changed doing Easter baskets and all non churchy events on the Saturday before Easter and have really enjoyed it. Now that Mackenzie is older, I didn't want her to get all hyped up on the Easter bunny and candy right before heading off to church to learn the complete opposite meaning that day. She didn't even seem to notice or ask why we did it this way. I am so grateful for my many blessings in my life, and to remember the real reason we celebrate Easter Sunday. I even got to have my husband at church with me today, which is always a plus!

Easter Eve Picnic

We did Easter bunny stuff that morning before we left for Twin, and the Easter bunny brought Kenzie a kite, she was pretty excited to fly it until it was a little too windy and had a little bit of a hard time getting it up! I just loved that face of hers in this photo.
The girls made out pretty well with the egg hunt (great more candy for me NOT to touch!)
Justin was trying to get Gavin to make a "I'm tuff" look, but he just gave his usual cheesy grin!
We went to Twin Falls for our annual Thacker Picnic on Sat and man it WAS SO COLD! The wind just blew so mean and the air was bitter. The kids didn't seem to mind they were preoccupied with cousins and having fun, which is what they should have been doing. If Landon wasn't a baby it would have been an okay time, but the poor kid couldn't breath very well, the wind kept making him sad! We were able to move the car close and just kept him in there for the rest of the time. Towards the end of the day the sun came out and warmed us up a little. It was good to visit (once we left and went to grandma's house so we could actually talk to each other without the wind in our face) The kids always have a blast and are always sad when the time comes to an end. The lack o pictures for the day is a result of the crap weather and having to hold Landon the whole time.......always sad when there is a get together with plenty of good opportunities to take photos and something always gets in the way.....grr.

Shoshone Falls

We stopped by the falls on the way to the Thacker picnic. It was windy and the mist was getting on Gav, hence the happy face from him. It was so beautiful, its been a long time since I have seen it that full and pretty. The rainbow of course is like the cherry on top! I'm not one for heights, so a quick looksie for me and I can call it good!
