Yes, my little girl is now a glasses wearing beauty! Knowing that she has needed these for quite a few months now, and school around the corner, it was due time for those eyes to be checked! I was actually in 3rd grade when I got my glasses for the first time too! I must say that the styles are much much much better these days, and I got over my phobia of the GIANT frames I had as a little girl. It is sad to me that she takes after me, the doctor said that she is near sided, and her eyes will continue to change and get worse each year most likely......sigh, yep like mother like daughter.
She is still as beautiful as ever, just looks smarter! :)

I agree with the styles being SO much better than those awful GIANT frames we all wore! She is so beautiful in her glasses! Everytime I think of getting new glasses I think of the cartoon "Arthur" when he got his new glasses and on the drive home kept pointing out all the things he had been able to see before.
I meant all the things he HADN'T seen before.
Oh my gosh, Val, she practically looks like a teenager in these shots. Wow--how did that happen?! Love and miss you.
Those little red ones are the cutest! She looks so good in them! I remember when glasses were so nerdy, now its the new fad! Just like braces. Kids hated them back in the day and now kids love them.
