I kind of forgot to post Mackenzie's last day of kindergarten! Oops. Her last day was last Thursday, which was the same day I was leaving to go on my getaway. I was able to join her for the 1st hour and a half, and then we had to flee fast to get to the airport.
It was great to get to see her with all her friends at school and watch the activities the teacher had planned for them. Her teacher put together the cutest memory book for them with all their kindergarten memories throughout the school year! It is awesome, I love it! They had a family BBQ, and they also got to do some "last time in kindergarten" things. Her teacher was got very emotional as they quoted their weekly message that read how much she was going to miss them, and how proud she was of them. It was really sweet, and of course, I got a little teary myself. Mackenzie loves school, and the summer may be a long one if the weather doesn't turn around faster so we can go enjoy the water park again!
Well, Mackenzie is now going to be a 1st grader, and is so very excited to be able to go to all day school next year! Hooray for the kindergarten memories!

Oh! to be a kindergartner again! It is the only real school I liked! But now she's moving on to the big first grade! All day! Hooray! I am kinda glad to hear your weather is as crappy as ours! Maybe we brought it back with us from Seattle?
I am so excited for that next year, I can't wait to take all those pictures and junk. Are you or Mackenzie more exited for the all day at school thing?
